Auto City Credit Proudly Supporting Community Involvement

The Pleasant Grove Food Pantry (PGFP)

The PGFP is a non-profit organization which provides food to qualified residents of Pleasant Grove and the surrounding areas. Auto City, and its president Blake Ingram, helped give the PGFP a new start in 2009, and through its partnership with the North Texas Food Bank, it now consistently ranks in the top 10 food banks in America.

Blake has previously served as president of the PGFP Board, and currently serves as a board member and advisor. Auto City also provides support through financial donations, labor, and equipment such as a van, computers, and kitchen equipment.

Stand Up Pleasant Grove

Auto City is the Title Sponsor for Stand Up Pleasant Grove (S.T.A.N.D.), a celebration of community, designed to inspire and empower the residents and businesses throughout the Southeast Dallas Area and instill a sense of unity and pride in this valuable community. This month-long celebration includes four community events: National Night Out in the Grove, Hands Across the Grove, The Southeast Dallas Community Golf Classic, and Grovefest.

STAND UP PLEASANT GROVE not only lifts the entire community; it also provides substantial financial support to worthy organizations such as The Southeast Dallas Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Fund, Reading is Fundamental (R.I.F.), the Pleasant Grove Food Pantry, Drug Education for Youth (DEFY), and Jerry’s Dream Camp for Underprivileged Kids.

Annual Auto City Family Outreach Event with the Great Peanut Butter Roundup!

Each year Auto City hosts an event that not only honors its customers, but also allows Auto City employees and customers to support the Pleasant Grove Food Pantry. This party, which started as an event for only 65 customers, has grown into an event that provides dinner, entertainment, and prizes to over 600. Central to the party: THE GREAT PEANUT BUTTER ROUNDUP, benefiting the Pleasant Grove Food Pantry! The Outreach Event is free, but the “admission ticket” is a donation of a jar of peanut butter that will be delivered to the Pleasant Grove Food Pantry. Customers are encouraged to bring multiple jars – which gives them multiple entries into the amazing event raffles. The Great Peanut Butter Roundup provides the Pleasant Grove Food Pantry all the peanut butter it needs for an entire year, with hundreds of families and children then receiving nourishing and sustaining food.

The William Martin Ingram Scholarship

William Martin Ingram believed in the power of small businesses in building strong communities. This annual scholarship honors his legacy by enabling aspiring young entrepreneurs to pursue their college dreams.

We offer programming and support to keep them self-sufficient and their homes safe, while our educational programs heighten public awareness and promote understanding about the disease.

Doctors without Borders

Support for Doctors gives their medical and logistical staff the ability to reach people in need around the world and provide them with critical medical care.
